Spay Neuter Goal

Our Story

The Lowell TNR Coalition was formed in 2009 in response to the growing problem of feral cat overpopulation in Lowell, Massachusetts. We are a collaborative group of individual volunteers and non-profit organizations focused on combating this issue through T.N.R. (Trap-Neuter-Return).

We participate in targeted trappings once a month within the town of Lowell. During each trapping, we span out to multiple sites through the city based on tips, calls and emails we have received from the public.

The cats are then spayed/neutered, vaccinated and released after recovery.

Some of the participants of the Coalition include:

  • Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society »
  • Kitty Angels »
  • Lowell Animal Control Officer »
